The Browns made history again this past week, but it was the wrong kind of history. By trading QB Charlie Frye to Seattle the Browns were the first team since the merger of the AFL and NFL in 1970 to trade their opening day starting QB before week 2.

Derek Anderson now becomes the Browns starting QB, but Browns fans realize it is only a temporary move. When rookie QB Brady Quinn sees his fist action is still anyone's guess, but smart money says sooner rather than later.

Mason Edwards from BetUS.com joined show host Jim Giles again this week and tells us he sees the same fate for the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. Mason also gives an outsider's view as to what is going on with the Browns. The picture being painted outside of Ohio isn't a pretty one.

More phone calls from Browns fans who feel the Browns opening day woes were an aberration and that they will bounce back this week. Time will only tell.

All that and more on this edition of The Barking Lot!

It's Steelers week and opening weekend, should it get any better? Hell yes it could, a Browns win would make it better!

Show host Jim Giles talks about this weeks match up with the Pittsburgh Steelers and tells you why he thinks this is a great time for the Browns to catch the Steelers at home.

A little talk about CB Leigh Bodden's arrest late Wednesday night, but most Browns fans don't feel it's a big issue. Head coach Romeo Crennel and G.M. Phil Savage agree and Bodden will play Sunday.

Mason Edwards from BetUS.com calls in with our "Ask the Bookie" segment. Mason thinks the Browns game will come down to 1 possession. He also gives his opinion on some other great match up's this weekend as well.

Of course great phone calls and e-mails are a part of this edition of The Barking Lot as well!
