Maybe it's the holiday's or a hang over from the Benglas game, but Browns fans were quiet tonight!

The Browns and 49ers game was prety much a non-topic on the show as the focus was more on the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans game Sudnay night. If the Colts win the Browns are in the playoffs, if they don't the Browns won't. So we have dubbed this edition the "Cleveland Colts Barking Lot".

Show host Jim Giles shares his thoughts on the matchup and reflects back on the Bengals meltdown. He also gets on his soap box a bit to put the 2007 Browns season into perspective.

All that and much more on this edition of The Barking Lot!

With Christmas upon us, Browns fans are hoping they get the best present possible this year, the playoffs!

The Browns took the 1st step towards the playoffs by beating the Buffalo Bills in the "Blizzard Bowl" this past Sunday. By doing so the Browns eliminated the Bills from playoff contention and now nust only worry about the Tennessee Titans for the 6th and final playoff spot in the AFC.

The Browns will have their hands full against the Bengals this week, but with a win they can lock up their 1st playoff birth since the 2002 season. The AFC North is still in their grasp as well. With 2 wins and 1 Steelers loss over the last 2 weeks the Browns would in fact be AFC North Champions!

The calls were down for this show as most listeners were out doing their last minute shopping, but we did here from Dan in Georgia and Dominic in Florida.

Merry Christmas to all of the Browns fans who listen each week to The Barking Lot and visit DawgBones.com! GO BROWNS!!!

The biggest game of the Browns re-born era is at hand! The Browns will host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday and the winner will be a step closer to the AFC Playoffs.

Browns fans from Ohio, Florida, Georgia and beyond are feeling good about the Browns this week at home. The Browns are 5-0 under QB Derek Anderson at home and fans are hoping his good fortune at home continues thos week.

Show host Jim Giles gets inside the numbers between the Browns and Bills. If the game becomes a shootout the edge is clealry the Browns, but the weather may prevent that from happening. High's in the upper 20's, 20 MPH winds and a 50% chance of snow may take that edge a way from the Browns.

The Browns are asking fans to get into the stadium early this week so they are in their seats when the opening kickoff goes in the air. We here at DawgBones.com ask the same. GO BROWNS!!!

The Browns lost last week, but Browns fans are steadfast in their belief that the 2007 Cleveland Browns can and will be playoff bound.

Show host Jim Giles took calls from far and wide on this edition of The Barking Lot and most Browns fans are expecting a huge bounce back by the Browns Sunday against the Jets.

Browns rookie Joe Thomas was named NFL Rookie of the Month, a huge feat for a player that never sees the ball in his hands unless it's a fumble recovery. It may be what he needed to get his ticket punched for this years trip to Hawaii and the Pro Bowl.

Return man Joshua Cribbs also was named NFL Special Teams Player of the Month as well. Finally some recognition for a team that is getting better.

The injury list has shrunk for the Browns and that is a good thing heading up against a banged up New York Jets team.

All that and more on this edition of The Barking Lot!
