Who says there is nothing to talk about in the off-season? Calls from Georgia, Minnesota and Ohio filled the airwaves tonight as Browns fans way in on their team.

Show host Jim Giles had an editorial on big brother, other wise known as the NFL.

  • The Barking Lot - 3/13/2008(David McMillan Cleveland Browns)

    3/13/2008 Show

A very special edition of The Barking Lot this evening with Browns OLB David McMillan. David called in from Hawaii on his vacation and let us know what he expects not only from himself, but the Cleveland Browns in 2008.

Show host Jim Giles took calls from Browns fans in Florida, Texas and Georgia tonight as well and the big topic was surprisingly LB Chaun Thompson! Thompson appeared ready to re-sign with the Browns, but now has scheduled a visit with the Houston Texans on Friday. Thompson is from Texas and the Texans may offer him a chance to start, two things the Browns can't compete with.

    3/6/2008 Show

The Browns have made sweeping changes in just 7 days, actually in just 3 of those 7 days, but sweeping none the less.

Derek Anderson is under contract and will be the Browns starting QB in 2008. The team signed free agent WR Donte' Stallworth as their now and future #2 WR.

In 2 stunning trades the Browns acquired DE Corey Williams from the Packers and DT Shaun Rogers from the Lions and vastly improved their much maligned defensive line.

Show host Jim Giles is optomistic, but also a bit concerend about spending all this money on 2 defensive linemen who have never played in the 3-4 in the NFL.

All this and much more on the Barking Lot, the only live year round talk show for you, the fans of the Cleveland Browns!
  • The Barking Lot - 2/28/2008

    2/28/2008 Show

The Browns head into free agency with some holes to fill and a pocket full of money. Browns fans seem split on what the team should do at QB though.

With no top tier defensive linemen in free agency and Raiders DT Tommy Kelly breaking the bank, Jim Giles gives his opinion of the free agentcrop of defensive linemen. Two words coem to mind, "It Sucks"!

All that plus your call's and e-mail's on this edition of The Barking Lot!
