Its time to check in on Cleveland's most prominent athlete...LeBron James. I'm sure most people are assuming ol' LeBron spends his down time in the off season between hosting the ESPY's in July to hosting Saturday Night Live next month hibernating somewhere...or at least overseeing the construction of his mansion. Where are you paparazzi of Cleveland!
Not so. Actually, many Americans haven't quite noticed due to the baseball pennant race along with NFL on the verge of kicking off opening week, but LeBron and the NBA's other traveling stars are off participating in the FIBA Olympic qualifying tourney.
In fact, last night Team USA gave up a tournament-high 100 points to Mexico.
Viva baloncesto Mexico! Of course the U.S. scored 125...including 19-5-5 from LeBron. Something tells me from the looks of this clip, Team USA wasn't too worried about letting Mexico reaching triple didgets.
The clip features the oldie "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley. This would no doubt lead some viewers to believe our boys are frequenting drive up eateries with food delievered to their H2's by girls on roller skates while Carmelo, Kobe, and the gang are throwing out keen delieveries to the ladies of Vegas. One can imagine can't he?
