Browns vs. Ravens Tailgate Talk

Why yes, things have been great. Thanks for asking asshole.

Ah, the Baltimore Ravens. We in Cleveland still have not forgotten. Ok, maybe some have considering the fact that the 'ol infamous Lerner family helped Modell with his move fiasco has been revised from many fans mental histories...

Should the Lerner family have been forgiven in the first place if ever? Well, we don't have to look much further than the records of each franchise since the move. Baltimore has their ring and is a perennial playoff contender while our Browns are well...I think we know how the new millennium has worked out so far. Either way you look at it, the Lerner family has yet to make up this debt to most Browns fans during their tenure as the absolute ruling power of the Browns.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying I want Jerry Jones or a Dan Snyder type running the show by any means. Fuck those guys is what I say. After all, Art Modell was that very owner from a prior era. If I didn't make that clear enough...fuck him in the ear. Better?

With the exception of the contingent of Browns fans who would rather see former owner Art Modell have an unfortunate encounter with Chris Hanson on NBC's "To Catch a Predator" (one of the best shows on TV by the way) most fans feel content knowing that Modell will never set one foot in Canton, Ohio while he is still alive. That's the way it should be now and forever.

As for Randy Lerner, your time is quickly coming. We fans have held up our end of the bargain by selling out every home game to watch shit football. Put out or get out.

Yes, this is a gratuitis cheerleader shot of the Ravens girls of One Tree Hill. Enjoy.

On to the game.

This game has revenge factor written all over it for former Ravens running back Jamal Lewis. That is a reasonably obvious assumption. The real question is will it matter against the Ravens defense? Though the Ravens are a tad overrated this year, they are still playing the Browns.
Hey, at least we got that going for us.

However, one thing the Browns may have in their favor is the fact that the Ravens offense is nearly as bad as the Browns defense. *Also, the Browns are at home and are expected to show up for this game by the 2nd quarter. Hence the 4 1/2 point spread in Vegas with the Ravens favored for this game.

In a nutshell...or as some would just say a "shell"...fuck Baltimore.

(*At least we got that going for us.)

Prediction: Browns 23 - Ravens 20
