Last night the Tribe laid the ol' tomahawk to Boston's $103-million dollar man. Tonight latest victim on the chopping block will be knuckleballer and
reality show nerd hero Tim Wakefield. The Tribe is throwing Paul Byrd up on the hill. This game should be a real thrill for you aficionados of the fine art of junk ball pitching.
For obvious reasons, this game is HUGE. A 3-1 lead for the Tribe would take much of the pressure off of the Indians hitters for the next Josh Beckett appearance and possibly shut the Sox fans up once and for all. Who the hell are we kidding? Nothing will shut them up.
Last night's game was nice in part due to the sight of the Red Sox hitters actually losing their patience and swing at a LOT of bad pitches early in the count. After all, this team has been in first place in their division for over six months now. Coming from behind for this team is something new for this year's Sox team and Indians fans have to love watching them squirm for a change.
I would divulge more on last night's game, but this time I think I'll just leave that to YouTube's latest sensation known as "MansfieldMan109." Watch out, this guys pulls no punches with his analysis and judging by the empties in the background he's got a lot on his mind. Enjoy.
