The Vikings
Adrian Peterson won the NFL's offensive rookie of the year in a landslide vote. Peterson earned 46 1/2 out of a possible 50 votes, while Cleveland's Thomas got the other 3 1/2 votes.
Not that the voting comes as a shock. In fact, there has never been an offensive lineman to ever win the award in the NFL's "modern era" which is considered to be from 1970 to present. However, the fact that Thomas even finished second in the voting is at least a dog biscuit flung in his direction.
If you ask me the guy was robbed. With Joe Thomas anchoring the line at left tackle, the Browns won 10 games and helped plow the way for the franchise's second ever back to rush for over 1,300 yards in Jamal Lewis. The other back to do so is, of course, Jim Brown.
