I'm not sure what it is, but backstabbing seems like the lowest thing you can do to someone, and I have a hard time forgiving it.

There are some things that people do that I can't get my mind around, and one of them is smiling at someone while sticking the knife in them when they aren't looking. I'd like to think that Art Modell is a singular example, but, unfortunately, guys like him are all too common in the sports business... even more so than in "real" business.

You just have to hope that there's something to karma and that scumbags pay for their scumbaggery at a certain point.

Actually, the screen going black on him wouldn't be justice enough.

Considering the notion of moving the Browns WAS NOT something that just happened to come to him on a whim, he should have been in line to be whacked a LONG time ago.

OK......... I am over my mob-mentality sense now (at least in this public setting)

Too bad we couldn't have arranged for old Art to be wacked on the final episode of The Sopranos. He wouldn't have had the sack to stick around and get wacked anyway. He would have run for the Witness protection program. A.K.A. Baltimore.
