It's over. More suddenly than we wanted.
I'll miss the feeling of anticipation before kickoff, the buzz of fans tailgating in the Muni, the unexpected thrill of seeing Braylon Edwards or Josh Cribbs breaking into the clear and racing to the end zone. I'll miss the the first day of training camp. The cold snap of gameday mornings.
I'll miss that until next Fall.

Sigh. It was a lot to wade through, and re-living last night's experience of watching helplessly while the team was pushed out of the playoffs wasn't a lot of fun.
I think the thing for it is to spend the evening quaffing a non-trivial number of adult beverages and developing the level of incoherence required of people who share our horrific fates: out of the playoffs and one year further away from our birthdates. Booze is the word.
