Actually,

I don't think Bernie's far off. Frye has started 17 total games. Think about it--that's only a season's worth. Frye is far from the main problem why the Browns not only have been terrible, but viewed as creampuffs by pundits all over the country.

Bernie's list of reasons (no running game, poor OL play, no offensive game plan, etc) is right on the mark. And as for the dropped passes, I counted more than five dropped passes in many games last year. And, at least 5 of Charlie's INTs were certain catches that actual NFL players should have caught but bounced off of hands (Northcutt, Droughns) or shoulder pads (Edwards).

Frye isn't a world beater, that's for sure. But look what Chicago did with Grossman or Pittsburgh did with Cheeseburger. Protect your QB, run the ball, and stop the run and you will have a winning season, even if the blue saxaphone player from the Muppet Show is your QB.

What makes it obvious that Bernie is just covering for his boy is that he knows much more about quarterbacking in the NFL than any of us will ever come close to knowing, yet EVERYONE but him concurs that Frye just hasn't gotten it done. If we can see it, certainly Bernie can see it. Quinn in '07.

I guess we'll have to let what happens on the field decide. I'm honestly to the point that I don't give a rat's ass who is chucking the ball as long as it isn't going to the other team or bouncing off someone's hands (ahhhhhahhhchewBraylonEdwards). Romeo just needs to quit pussyfooting around and say who his guy is going to be. And that needs to be decided by the first preseason game.

Q. Where would Cleveland be without a QB controversy?

Seriously...I can't figure out why the national media hates Cleveland so much. After all how on earth would they win THEIR championships without signing our marquee players in free agency that we spent years developing.
