I agree its a good trade. What is scary though is that Meloan is now the Tribes top rated pitching prospect. Unless I missed something, no one else in the Indians farm system is listed in the top 50 pitchers. The news is not very encouraging in the other positions as well. If we are looking for top level prospects to feed the teams future, things look bleak.

Sowers has been strange this year. One outing he sets a career high in strikeouts and walks, and now he takes a perfect game through five!

We need him to step up and be a quality pitcher with the questions marks we have going into next season.

His attitude, work ethic, drive and natural ability will bring him to the bigs by next year. High energy and will run everything out both on offense and defense. Great player.

Crowe is an OF, BTW. We did try him at 2B last year, but that idea has been scrapped.
